Terms and Conditions

The promoter of the ASSETS Rewards Programme is Burnbrae Group Ltd, Hurstmere Road, Takapuna Beach, North Shore for the Blankenberge Belgian Beer Café®.
All ASSETS Rewards Programme members are bound by the following conditions of use:

1. Membership to the ASSETS Rewards Programme is open to customers of the Blankenberge Belgian Beer Cafe® over 18 years of age with all membership applications being subject to acceptance by the Blankenberge Belgian Beer Café®.
2. Your ASSETS Card can be used immediately in the Blankenberge Belgian Beer Café®. Use of the card will imply your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
3. Your ASSETS Card is only activated on receipt of your card.
4. If you do not wish to accept these conditions, please return your ASSETS Card to the Blankenberge Belgian Beer Café®.
5. Burnbrae Group reserves the right to cancel any ASSETS membership immediately, along with any accumulated reward points, if a member behaves in an offensive manner at a Burnbrae venue and/or a member defrauds, or attempts to defraud, the ASSETS programme or Burnbrae outlet.
6. ASSETS Reward points are not transferable or cannot be taken as cash. ASSETS Reward points cannot be pooled together between members to achieve a reward.
7. To earn ASSETS Reward Points a member must present their ASSETS Card at the time of purchase at the Blankenberge Belgian Beer Café®. ASSETS Reward Points cannot be awarded or backdated where the card is not presented at the time of purchase.
8. ASSETS Members earn one point per $1.00 spent on all goods purchased for consumption at Blankenberge Belgian Beer Café®, including bar snacks and restaurant meals. Ten points earned is equivalent to $1 at the Blankenberge Belgian Beer Café®. Burnbrae Group Ltd may change or modify the earning rate of the programme, products, services of the value of any reward at any time without notice.
9. A member’s ASSETS Reward Points have a life of 12 months from the date that the member joined the programme. Any unredeemed points in a member’s account will expire at the end of the calendar month of the member’s 12 month anniversary join date or by arrangement with Burnbrae Group Ltd management.
10. ASSETS Reward Points are able to be redeemed for rewards once the member has sufficient points in their ASSETS account for his/her chosen reward.
11. Members may obtain information on their points balance from the Burnbrae Group Ltd outlet where they joined the programme.
12. ASSETS members are able to exchange points for rewards when they achieve sufficient reward points. Rewards include beverages, meals and selected merchandise that may be varied from time to time. Refer to the Blankenberge Belgian Beer Café outlet or by visiting the website. Burnbrae Group Ltd may change the value of any reward at any time without notice.
13. Rewards are only redeemable at the Blankenberge Belgian Beer Café® (depending on stock availability). To redeem ASSETS points for a reward, members must present their card at the Blankenberge Belgian Beer Café® for authorisation. If sufficient points are available for the reward, the member’s account will be deducted with the point value equivalent to the reward. Identifi cation may be required.
14. ASSETS Reward Points and rewards cannot be refunded once they have been redeemed.
15. Burnbrae Group Ltd reserves the right to modify the ASSETS programme at any time without prior notification to members.
16. Burnbrae Group Ltd may discontinue the ASSETS programme at any time by placing a Public Notice in “The North Shore Times Advertiser” and on the website. Members will be given one month’s notice to redeem their points for a reward after which time, any unused or remaining point balances will expire.
17. ASSETS member’s details and any other information gathered from the use of a member’s ASSETS Card will only be confidentially used and disclosed to Burnbrae Group Ltd management and its appointed marketing agencies and will not be disclosed to or sold to any other third parties.
18. By joining the ASSETS programme, members agree to receive promotional communications from Burnbrae Group Ltd outlets from time to time. If you do not want to receive communications about Burnbrae Group Ltd events, activities and special offers for ASSETS members please tick the box on the application form.
19. The ASSETS Reward Programme is available at the Blankenberge Belgian Beer Café only, points are not redeemable at any other Belgian Beer Café outlets.
